A/Prof. Daniel Burgarth
MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY SYDNEY
Daniel Burgarth is Associate Professor of quantum physics at Macquarie Universities center for Quantum Engineering, and Australian Research Council Future Fellow and Chief Investigator for the Australian Research Council center for Engineered Quantum Systems.

Burgarth Group
Daniel graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of Freiburg in 2004. His Ph.D research at University College London until 2007 explored aspects of quantum state transfer in one-dimensional spin systems. He then moved to the ETH Zurich and Oxford University, where as a postdoc and JRF, he researched in the areas of quantum information and computations.
