UTS joins $17M consortium for quantum algorithm benchmarking

The centre for quantum software and information at QSI@UTS, have been selected as a subcontractor on three new grants from the recently announced Quantum Benchmarking program from the US Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The QTS group will join members of QSI and collaborators including, Boeing, GM, Amgen, HRL labs, IonQ, Zapata Computing, Rigetti Computing, Aalto University, Finland, University of Southern California, and the University of Texas at Dallas on multiple projects related to algorithmic benchmarking and quantum resource estimation.


Consequently UTS are hiring four new postdocs to join us on this new project.
